What is Modern Alchemy Jewellery made from?
All jewellery is handmade in sterling silver. Some of it is made from recycled sterling silver or eco silver. Recycled silver has the same purity as newly mined sterling silver. Earring posts and scrolls are sterling silver, therefore suitable for sensitive ears.
How should I look after my jewellery?
Silver jewellery naturally tarnishes over time (creating a dull appearence), particularly if left exposed to air.
To avoid this process happening too quickly, store your jewellery in an air tight place or in the gift box it came in. The easiest way to remove tarnish is to use a silver cloth, a quick wipe with the cloth will make your jewellery shiny again!
To further care for your jewellery and keep it looking its best for longer :-
- Remove your jewellery before showers, bathing and swimming
- Avoid contact with perfume, creams etc.
- Keep it safe apart from other pieces to avoid scratches or your jewellery getting tangled.
How will my jewellery be packaged?
Your jewellery will be packaged in a branded reycled + recyclable gift box or envelope depending on what you purchase.
Do you take commissions?
Yes! If you see anything that you would like slightly differently (length of chain, texture, size etc) I will do my best to accomodate you. Or if you have your own ideas I will try to bring them to life for you in silver! Get in touch via the contact page (bottom of site).
